Leadership

Michael Shrum has been the Lead Pastor at GCOG for the last five years. His wife, Shania serves alongside of him as the Ministry Coordinator and Women's Ministry Leader. Michael's heart is to serve others and to see a lost and dying world come to know Christ. He is passionate about the broken belonging and that the church is a place where you should come as you are and leave different than when you entered through Salvation because of the Blood of Jesus Christ. He believes that a church that Loves God and Loves People is a church that will be a united front, serve alongside others, and ultimately will be passionate to see their community and families be saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. 

Teresa's desire as the GCOG Children's Pastor is to help the "Journey Kids" realize they are loved and cherished by God and their church family. They all have unique gifts and talents given by God. She wants to help them discover and be used  for His glory! Her desire  is for them  to know they can have a real relationship with God NOW!  Her goal is to guide them to the narrow road, and cheer them on as they walk their own Journey with Him. 

Kristen's  heart longs to see  imperfect people chasing after a perfect God, using their most powerful weapon— worship. She believes it’s a joy looking out and seeing a congregation seeking the Lord. Her passion is to always allow the Holy Spirit to move first, love people like Jesus second, and give their best efforts with the talents God gave us third. She has personally  experienced His grace and mercy time and time again and her prayer is for that to show while leading God’s people to experience the same. It’s feels it is an absolute  honor.

Jake is passionate about helping our kids find and grow their relationship with Christ! By allowing them to explore tough questions and grow in their faith and understanding,  he believes we are allowing them to have  a safe and supportive environment that will prepare them for their young adult lives. His heart is to walk alongside them as they discover their purpose and the incredible plans that God has for their lives.
